THE STORY BEHIND THE PHOTOGRAPH
This photo was taken of a nameless waterfall (nameless to me in any case, though I did look on my OS map) close to the Nun's Cave, on the south coast of the Ross of Mull, west of Carsaig. I was on an outing with my son, then aged 12, to see the famous Carsaig Arches. We passed this waterfall on the way, but I was so keen to reach the arches while the light was still reasonable that we pressed on and did not stop. I made a mental vow to myself that we would stop on the way back however, and so we did, with this result. I have looked in vain on my OS maps, trying to discover the name of the falls, but all it says on my map is 'waterfalls'. Not terribly helpful, but there you are.
