THE STORY BEHIND THE PHOTOGRAPH
Little Assynt features several circular trails, with several low hills offering excellent views over a landscape of small lochs and hills. This view looks roughly east towards the shrouded slopes of Quinag. I must have taken dozens of photos wile the sun played hide and seek across the low hills and lochs. I liked this view partly because of the way the loch in the distance is lit by the sun, while the surrounding hills are still in shadow.
