THE STORY BEHIND THE PHOTOGRAPH

David RossBeinn Alligin is one of the most appealing of the major peaks in Wester Ross. This view of the mountain was taken from a viewpoint on the far side of Loch Torridon, just above the village of Annat. I must have photographed this scene three of four times over the course of a wonderful week I spent near Loch Torridon! I confess that in order to get this angle of view I hopped over a low fence; I hope the farmer won't mind!David Ross Photography signature
