UK fine art landscape prints by David Ross

Terms and Conditions

Yes, I know, no one likes to read terms and conditions; its all full of legalese and fluff that only keeps lawyers happy. But this is important stuff, and it lays out my promise to you, and what you can expect from David Ross Photography, so its pretty important stuff if you’re considering ordering a valuable work of art. Most of this information is available on other pages throughout the website, but it is useful to have all the important bits laid out here in one place. Ready? Here we go.

If you are unsatisfied with a purchase for any reason, you may return it undamaged for a full refund within 30 days from the date you receive the goods. Note that last bit ‘from the date you receive the goods’. That’s to your benefit. Some businesses insist that you must return goods within 14 days from time of ordering, but that’s a bit daft; what if you’re away and don’t get the package for 3 weeks? This way, you have plenty of time to make a decision.

But please, if you are unhappy with anything you order from us, contact us first, rather than just popping a package back in the post. We’ll do our best to sort out any issues.

Please, please note this carefully

All prints are made to order. We do not have a stock of prints ready to ship. I call the print fine art for a reason Рeach print is created on demand, and printed by a skilled printer.

Therefore, we cannot guarantee a shipping date when you order prints.

Reread that last sentence. We cannot guarantee a shipping date when you order.

Our commitment to you:
If David is away on a photography trip, we will inform you immediately upon your order.

We will also keep you regularly informed as to when the print will be shipped to you.

We cannot guarantee that the print you receive will look ‘just like’ what you see on your monitor while browsing our website. Unless you are an artist working in a colour managed environment, with a carefully tuned and calibrated monitor, it is VERY likely that your monitor displays colour and contrast differently than mine (and, I might add, probably incorrectly). Also, most general purpose monitors are very bright, simply for ease of use. And monitors are backlit (that is, light shines through the image you see from behind).

Prints, on the other hand, rely on reflected light (i.e. they aren’t lit from behind, but rely on light reflecting back off the print surface for you to see them). For these reasons, the print you receive might not look EXACTLY like what you see on your monitor. But, and here’s they key point – it will be printed to the very highest standards, and match very closely the actual image I took. And hopefully, that vision will be aesthetically pleasing for you!

We want you to be completely happy with your order. If you decide that you are not happy for any reason, you can return your order for a full refund, minus shipping costs, at any point within 30 days from receiving your order.
